Gynae – Oncology

The Department of Gynae-Oncology at Sri Krishna Sevashrama specializes in the diagnosis and management of female genital malignancies, including cancers of the cervix, uterus, vagina, vulva, ovary, and gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN). In addition to advanced cancer treatment, we are actively involved in preventive oncology, offering pap smears, biopsies, and fluid cytology on an outpatient basis. Our team also performs minor procedures such as D&C, IUCD insertions, hysteroscopy, and colposcopy, ensuring early detection and effective interventions.

For complex oncological cases, we perform major cancer surgeries, including radical hysterectomy, vulvectomy, staging, and cytoreductive procedures, using both open and laparoscopic techniques. Post-operative care is supported by a well-equipped ICU, ensuring comprehensive recovery and critical care management.
